TIME TO LOCATE THE NAAR

The Naar, or Karneval Spirit, has been asleep since the end of the last Karneval season (i.e., just before Ash Wednesday). Thus, at the beginning of the Prinzenkrönung the Naar must be found and awoken. The SZMn Elferrat have this task. But what will they do? They enter the hall looking frusturated and line up on the stage. 

Just then, Big Al notices some strange activity coming from the service area in the back of the hall.

It appears to be Elvis! Could it really be Elvis? The figure parades arrogantly up to the stage and begins to dance wildly. The Elferrat is sure that it is Elvis but then someone yells

 "Imposter!!!"

The Elferrat huddle around "Elvis" and strip off the fake costume. Low and behold, the figure is really the Naar--The Spirt of Karneval.

The Naar has been found
--Karneval can begin!

The Spirit of Karneval began dancing and parading through the hall and 

Finally, Karneval was underway!!! 

The next activity was the divesting of the 2006-2007 Prinzenpaar  (last season's royal couple) of their symbols of office.
